DESCRIPTION:Across the Board is proud to host regular Dungeons and Dragons sessions on Thursdays! This event is perfect for anyone who wants to try to the game or just find a place to play the game regularly. \nWhat is Dungeons and Dragons? D&D is a game of unlimited possibilities! A dungeon master at the table prepares and narrates an immersive fantasy story for you and the other players to interact in\, solving puzzles\, persuading nobles\, fighting baddies\, and much more! Every time a player tries something risky\, they must roll a die to see if they succeed or not\, adding some chance to the mix. Each player role plays\, acting out their own created character\, each with their own quirks and strengths that can influence the rolls on the dice. That is why D&D is often called a role playing game. Easy rules to learn\, memories hard to forget\, come try it out at Across the Board! \nOur sessions are extremely beginner friendly as the dungeon masters would be happy to guide you through the game. We would be happy to print you a character and lend you dice if need be. DESCRIPTION:Find out if you and your team will be our next puzzle champion! \nDuring the event\, teams of 3-4 people\, will each receive the same 500 piece puzzle. On your marks\, get set\, GO! Whichever table finishes their puzzle first will be our puzzle champion team. It’s that simple! \nRegistration 6:30PM\, Race begins at 7PM \nCost per person is $45 (+tax)\,\nwhich includes:\n• the puzzle challenge itself\,\n• a FREE 1000pc Puzzle to take home for each participant.\n• access to our gaming library after the event \nYou may register as a team\, but it is not required. However\, due to the current COVID restrictions we cannot introduce customers to new groups at the moment. DESCRIPTION:A weekly miniatures event for ages 17 and under (recommended ages are 12 and up). Runs from 11am to 5pm. A casual setting for playing and painting\, with supplies and staff assistance provided for both. Gaming tables and terrain will be set up\, and are physically distanced from one another. Participants are not required to have prior experience or their own armies or supplies\, newcomers are welcome! The cost is $10/person after tax. Whichever table finishes their puzzle first will be our puzzle champion team. It’s that simple! \nRegistration 6:30PM\, Race begins at 7PM \nCost per person is $45 (+tax)\,\nwhich includes:\n• the puzzle challenge itself\,\n• a FREE 1000pc Puzzle to take home for each participant.\n• access to our gaming library after the event \nYou may register as a team\, but it is not required. However\, due to the current COVID restrictions we cannot introduce customers to new groups at the moment. DESCRIPTION:Across the Board is proud to host regular Dungeons and Dragons sessions on Thursdays! This event is perfect for anyone who wants to try to the game or just find a place to play the game regularly. \nWhat is Dungeons and Dragons? D&D is a game of unlimited possibilities! A dungeon master at the table prepares and narrates an immersive fantasy story for you and the other players to interact in\, solving puzzles\, persuading nobles\, fighting baddies\, and much more! Every time a player tries something risky\, they must roll a die to see if they succeed or not\, adding some chance to the mix. Each player role plays\, acting out their own created character\, each with their own quirks and strengths that can influence the rolls on the dice. That is why D&D is often called a role playing game. Easy rules to learn\, memories hard to forget\, come try it out at Across the Board! \nOur sessions are extremely beginner friendly as the dungeon masters would be happy to guide you through the game. We would be happy to print you a character and lend you dice if need be. Feel free to bring your own character\, though different dungeon masters may need characters of a specific level. \nOur regular $7 gaming fee does apply for this event. DESCRIPTION:IT’S BACK! \nRegistration 6:30PM\, Race begins at 7PM \nCost per person is $45 (+tax)\,\nwhich includes:\n• the puzzle challenge itself\,\n• a FREE 1000pc Puzzle to take home for each participant.\n• access to our gaming library after the event \nFind out if you and your team will be our next puzzle champion! \nDuring the event\, we create teams of 3-4 people\, each team will receive the same 500 piece puzzle. On your marks\, get set\, GO! Whichever table finishes their puzzle first will be our puzzle champion team. It’s that simple!\nYou may register as a team\, but it is not required. Individuals who would like to participate will be teamed up with new friends during the event. \nSEATING IS LIMITED SO REGISTER SOON! \nWe hope to see you there! \nAcross the Board is a licensed restaurant\, so food and drink options are available.\nDue to the number of guests arriving for the race\, we recommend coming 45min-1h early if you plan on eating. \nPart of the proceeds of the evening will support the KIDNEY FOUNDATION OF CANADA/MANITOBA BRANCH. \n \n\n\n\n
